2025 Allen Fourie Memorial Championships – Shotokan Open

We are pleased to invite you to the 2025 Allen Fourie Memorial Championships – Shotokan Open, taking place on Saturday, 13 September 2025, at the Richwood Recreation Community Hall, located on Richwood Avenue.

As many of you know, this annual tournament was established by the Milnerton Dojo in honour of Sensei Allen Fourie, who served as the Chief Instructor of the Western Cape. This event stands as a tribute to his legacy and lifelong dedication to karate.

To continue honouring his memory, we aim to make this year’s championship our most successful yet, and we warmly welcome all JKA sensei and affiliated dojos to participate.

Important Entry Information:

• Entry Deadline: Friday, 5 September 2025

• Entry Method: All entries must be submitted via our digital entry form (link provided separately).

• Fees:

  • R200 per division (e.g., R400 for both Kata and Kumite)

  • R300 per team for Unison Kata

• Payment Deadline: All fees must be paid by the entry deadline to be included in the drawsheet.
